Okay, so I know that SHOT has been circulating on the web and I was just wondering how everyone felt about the song. personally, for me, I think this was a smart move on KAT-TUN's part, because after 3 singles that sound relatively the same (Keep the Faith, LIPS, Don't U Ever Stop), SHOT shows that this group can do other genres as well. Big band + Jpop, always a win. Also, the fangirl in me wants to say that Ueda looks incredible in this video, his new haircut (or maybe I should say, hair style) suits him. So how do you guys feel about SHOT and/or the overall performance, if only so I can hear hilarious comments about the feathers attached to Kame's sleeve. Here's a link to the youtube video if you don't have the slightest idea what I'm talking about...

In the most recent of jep_cast, we were hit with loads of KAT-TUN news items from their single and in combination, performance of their solos on Music Station to Jin being the voice actor for Speed Racer! Of course, there was also other Johnny's Entertainment news items such as Yamaguchi Tatsuya from TOKIO going to Cannes and meeting Jack Black, to V6's PV for Chou. In our drama segment, we discussed Kimi wa Petto Episodes 8-10, concluding another drama series for us. This week, your hosts are the ever lovely Jennie/jadedfrenzy, Peyton/nihongofrancais, and Nikki/anamuan who filled in for the missing two hosts.

I should be mighty pissed right now because I am without both NHK and highspeed intrntz and I desperately need to see SCP because I've been informed of Ueda donning toit leather pants but today - May 19, 2008 - is my one-year-into-the-JE-fandom anniversary so I can't afford to be sulky! 8D

Despite how whiny and shallow I just made myself sound, I'm actually an extremely sentimental person and I make it a point to note down and remember things that may seem trivial and insignificant to everyone else. I carry a tiny calendar with me everywhere with all occasions - birthdays and appointments, the firsts and even the lasts - marked, and getting into into the JE fandom is no exception. In celebration, I've decided to make a little JE timeline of sorts. I know you lot probably don't care but I'm doing this anyway because 1) I swear there's gold in here somewhere and; 2) I don't ever want to forget. :D

I watched I'm Not There last night (for the second time and because it is on DVD I tried to watch only Heath's parts.)

I have to say this is not my fave movie that Heath was in, he is peppered throughout the movie. BUT his scenes are GREAT. His first scene is shall we say eye popping and jaw dropping (he is coming out of the shower and it was too BRIEF :D)

I am not a Bob Dylan fan and I think for those who are this movie would be even more enjoyable. The only reason I watched this movie was because of Heath. In the parts that Heath was not in I was bored and wanted to walk out. But I was not going to cause I wanted to see every bit of Heath's performance.

The extras are nice. I loved the tribute to Heath and I think the gallery section is wonderful. There are tons photos of Heath (I hope someone out there might be able to make screencaps from them)

I am going to rewatch it.
